Hollowpits.com welcomes George Ramsdale to the team. We are pleased to have a new team rider and George is one of the best riders for his age in WA. Here are some quick questions with him as I did an interview.

Age: 14 but turning 15 in February.

Euan: So George how have you found it growing up in Mandurah wave wise?

George: Not good the waves are pretty crap here.

Euan: Are you sponsored by any other companys that you would like to give a mention?

Euan: What are your favourite spots to hit up around WA?

George: North point, Gas and Box

Euan: Where’s your local?

George: Back Beach

Euan: In your eyes who are the biggest shredders from around Mandurah?

George: Wade Mcurdy, John Russell, John Barbour and Mitch McKinley

Euan: Got many travel plans for the near future?

George: Maybe Hawaii next year with Casey

Euan: At what age did you start bodyboarding and how did you go about developing your riding to become the state champion?

George: I started when I was about 11 years old and Nick Teske told me about the state rounds. So I entered into it and did really well so I have been trying to do every comp since.

Euan: Biggest wipeout and where?

George: My biggest wipe out ever would have been at Mandurah wedge. I took of on this wave and slid out and it lipped me in the head and I had concussion. I was throwing up every where.

Euan: Which pro riders do you look up to most in the sport?

George: Ryan Hardy, Sean Virtue and Johno Bruce

Euan: Where do you see the sport going in the near future?

George: I see the sport getting very big because all the young people will be getting into it and going really well.

Euan: Most embarrassing moment you have been in?

George: To many to tell.

Euan: Favourite bodyboarding movie?

George: Visions and Raised Heights.

Euan: What would be your dream wave setup?

George: Perfect right hander wedge with no rocks in front of it.

Euan: Longest you have ever surfed in one session?

George: About 8 hours when I was hell young and hell keen to surf hunchies.
